My Priorities
Building a Stronger Chesapeake Together
Building a Stronger Chesapeake Together
The decisions made by City Council affect our families, neighborhoods, businesses, and future. If elected, I will approach every decision with honesty, common sense, and a commitment to serving the people of Chesapeake.
My priorities reflect the issues I hear most often from residents and the values that guide my decisions.
Strong schools are one of the greatest investments we can make in our future.
I support responsible funding for Chesapeake Public Schools, ensuring resources are directed where they have the greatest impact—our students, teachers, and classrooms.
As a parent, I understand the importance of providing children with safe learning environments and opportunities to succeed.
I will advocate for transparency in education funding and work to strengthen partnerships between our schools and the community.
Every family deserves to feel safe at home.
I support our police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and first responders who work every day to protect our community.
Public safety also means maintaining safe parks, neighborhoods, and infrastructure while encouraging strong partnerships between residents and law enforcement.
Accessibility isn't just an issue—it's personal.
As the parent of a child with disabilities, I understand how important accessible parks, playgrounds, sidewalks, and public spaces are for families.
I will advocate for a Chesapeake where every resident can fully participate in community life, regardless of ability.
Every tax dollar should be spent wisely.
I believe in transparent budgeting, careful financial planning, and making decisions that protect taxpayers while investing in the services our community depends on.
Responsible spending means balancing today's needs with tomorrow's opportunities.
Residents deserve leaders who listen.
I believe City Council should communicate openly, welcome community input, and make decisions that are understandable and accountable.
Leadership begins with trust, and trust begins with transparency.
Chesapeake continues to grow, and growth should be thoughtful.
I support planning that protects our neighborhoods, improves infrastructure, preserves our natural resources, and ensures future development strengthens our community.
"I don't expect everyone to agree with me on every issue, but I promise to listen respectfully, consider different perspectives, and always make decisions based on what I believe is best for Chesapeake."
Our city's future depends on neighbors working together.
I look forward to listening, learning, and serving every resident with integrity, respect, and common sense.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my priorities. I would be honored to earn your support.
